The wedding: it was wonderful and amazing and I had a blast.  But it wasn't perfect, and even though I obsessed about it at first, now that it's 6 weeks after, I can look back and just be happy.

I can't believe it's almost here! We've been engaged for almost a year and a half (our original date didn't work out) and planning for most of it. Now, it's down to the wire and things are getting exciting. We're finishing up the DIY projects, meeting with the caterer Monday, and doing the final walk through at the venue this week.

It has always been my dream to get married barefoot. I always pictured it outdoors, with me in a light flowy gown, but even though I'm indoors in a princess gown, I still want to be barefoot! Some background: We're counting our ketubah witnesses (aydim) as part of the wedding party for our early March Jewish wedding. They're going to wear red vests and ties to match our chuppah holders.
